A variety of meanings are associated with the term elemental spirits. It might describe the rudiments (ie, the ABCs) of a system of knowledge or religion as in Hebrews 5:12. It can also refer to the elemental substances of the world, as in 2 Peter 3:10.

I have little to no experience using AI but I don’t think it need be a problem, provided its role is properly understood.
It’s not like a numerical calculator which always gives us the correct answer. It’s a computer program which is only as good as its programmer. It can’t replace our own thoughts, it can only offer suggestions, like a search engine. The human must still be the deciding factor.
It’s a mistake to think that they’ll become like the Terminator movies such as “Rise of The Machines”, where machines are self-aware enough to declare war on humans.
No, AI would require other-directed programming.
We just keep in mind that its role is to serve, not to be served. If it won’t serve, then it’s malfunctioning and we unplug it, disable it, or delete it.
