During the “Fading Years,” many things of “beauty and wonder remained on earth…” but also many things of “evil and dread.” Then all things began to change. A living darkness—Sauron’s (Satan’s) kingdom of evil– crept slowly through Greenwood the Great, and fear walked there in shadowy glades. Then the name of the forest was changed to Mirkwood, for the “nightshade lay deep there,” and few dared pass through. Whence the evil came few could tell,
“…and it was long ere even the Wise could discover it. It was the shadow of Sauron and the sign of his return…and all folk feared the Sorcerer of Dol Guldur, and yet they knew not at first how great was their peril.” (The Silmarillion, J.R.R. Tolkien, p. 299)
Sauron’s kingdom slowly crept into and perverted all things in the West and America. Within its’ living feral darkness, orcs and goblins situated themselves within our government, media, entertainment, military, law enforcement, academia, schools, and compromised churches. They began working their destructive magic while Sauron’s fell beasts and shapes of dread openly hunted the people of the West in the shadowy glades of the American Mirkwood.
But then Donald Trump and the brave men and women of the West cried out to the Lord, “Save us Lord!” Then they arose, and with the God of Armies going before them, the Necromancer (Lucifer/Satan) was sent back into the Void and Donald Trump and the men and women of the West dealt Sauron’s army a crushing defeat and sent forces of darkness scurrying into the darkest corners of Mirkwood where the bite and chew on each other.
Light and liberty returned. A joy-filled new day dawned bright and beautiful. Celebrations and feasting will be held and laughter and singing will once again be heard throughout Greenwood the Great.
Let us give thanks to the Lord our God. He heard our prayers and answered with kindness and mercy toward our underserving nation. He is the one who gets all the glory and gratitude. Only He deserves all our praise. He chose to spare us further suffering from the destruction and evils of a Harris administration. The enormity of common grace in His act of mercy is unprecedented in Western history.
“We will extol the Lord at all times; His praise will always be on our lips. We will glory in the Lord; let the afflicted hear and rejoice. Glorify the Lord with us; let us exalt His Name together.“
“We sought the Lord, and He answered us; He delivered us from all our fears. Those who look to Him are radiant; their faces are never covered with shame. This underserving people called, and the Lord heard them; He saved them out of all their troubles. The angel of the Lord encamps around those who reverently fear Him and He delivers them.”
“Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the one who takes refuge in Him. Fear the Lord, you His Holy people, for those who fear Him lack nothing.” Psalm 34:1-9
In His Holy and Righteous Name a grateful people say, thank-you Lord! Amen
