Why the Democratic Party is Demonic

I don’t understand why it should be controversial within the world of faithful Christianity to say that a Party is demonic (1) whose two central idols are (a) virtually unrestricted abortion and (b) the promotion of LGBTQ immorality (including the child abuse of chemical castration, the threat to women of males in female restrooms and sports and shelters and prisons, forced indoctrination of children, and compelled “trans” speech), central threats to God’s creation of us as “male and female” and “in the image of God” (Genesis 1:27; also the institution of marriage in Gen 2:21-24), and (2) whose means of achieving the tyranny of these idols is (a) the appointment of hard-left judges, (b) the promotion of unvetted and massive illegal immigration (a form of election cheating and criminal endangerment) along with the lawless obstruction of all efforts to remove illegal immigrants, and (c) cancellation through the suppression of free speech and free exercise of religion.

These are not just character flaws of individual leaders of the Party. They are the defining policy objectives of the Party (qua Party) with legal teeth to change a nation. They involve clear-cut, sea-change issues that affect the whole direction of the nation and touch every area of life (e.g., education, employment, speech, religion, family), resulting in extreme cancellation of dissidents. Other areas such as aid to the poor and racism aren’t on the same level of significant change (e.g., Republicans aren’t seeking to eliminate all welfare aid, don’t support racism, and don’t object to legal immigration).

I understand that the Republican Party is not a Christian party but a secular party, though it is far more receptive to Christian presence and priorities. But the Republican Party simply isn’t on the same level of being demonic as the Democratic Party. This strikes me as obvious as obvious can be.

  1. Yes, I think it’s become evident that large segments of American society have degenerated to the point that they have no moral basis and just follow their own lights, lights being their passions and concupiscence.. They’ve thrown out their moral compass and we’re seeing the results of that.
Without that moral compass they’ve gone so far as to approve political assassinations. No moral and religious people would do that (h/t John Adams).
They’ve made the Democrat party, not “Democratic”, their spokesman to carry out their scurrilous aims against what’s moral and decent and lawful.
If I may, here’s their version of the Pledge of Allegiance:
“I pledge allegiance to no flag but to the Pride one, to no republic with national borders, under no God, divisible by race, class and gender, with DEI for all.”

  2. This is a very serious problem to those of us who still recognize that we can’t live peacefully without the moral constraints we derive from out Judeo-Christian ethic.
Moreover, Western civilization can’t live in a morally degenerate secular chaos either.
Yes, we can sum up the secular chaos as Satanic.
