It reminds me of a movie collection I have called “Prophecy”. It’s about a second angelic war being waged on earth led by one Pyriel, the brutal angel of Genocide. In one of them, there are five, Pyriel chooses a human to carry out his tasks, a human who’s a soldier of high rank who carries out unspeakable atrocities. This reminds me of that.
From the little you told me Prophecy sounds like our very decayed and evil society.
Yes it does sound like it’s come to that in some instances, though I can’t say how many instances.
There are some other interesting plot twists which I don’t remember since I haven’t watched those movies in years.
BTW, that information about Pyriel came from the short summary about each movie given on the back of the collection. I don’t recall the names or the events of those movies since I saw them years ago. I just recall them as the peril of demonic activity on this earth.
I’m not sure I’d want to rewatch them now since I’m not the same credulous man I was years ago. Now I’m more discerning and they are after all, fiction.
But yet, the demonism rings true.
