Increasingly we see Pope Leo following in the footsteps of Bergoglio in taking up the multi-colored positions of Progressive Woke (Culturally Marxism). Sky News host James Macpherson critisises the Vatican Library for granting Muslim scholars a prayer room. ‘The Vatican, ever eager to avoid offending anyone – except Catholics – immediately obliged,’ Mr Macpherson said. “So by creating – within the very walls of Catholic intellectual power – a space for Muslim prayer, the Vatican is effectively allowing a rival faith to set up shop on its property. “Catholics believe salvation comes only through Christ. So why would they facilitate a form of worship that leads, by their own doctrine, to spiritual ruin?”
I can’t decide whether to view this Pope’s action as 2+2=5 or as DEI. If he doesn’t understand that Mohammedans can’t be appeased, then he’ll find out when they attack him with swords from their inner sanctum.
Maybe he thinks this will mollify the African Mohammedans to stop murdering Christians but it won’t. They won’t coexist peacefully.
I also can’t decide which is worse: Pope Francis bringing a pagan Pachamama into the Vatican or Pope Leo doing this. Neither indicates much fidelity to Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Sadly, there many Protestant pastors, priests, and seminarians today who have no fidelity to our Lord and Savior.
Perhaps there’s a subtext to this action. An article at today’s New York Post reports that moderate Muslims are incensed at Mamdani for associating himself in a photo with a known Muslim extremist who they say hates America. They don’t because they’re moderates.
Perhaps the Vatican wants to invite such Muslims into a Christian communion?
