  1. Frankly, I’m not at all intrigued by the Phoenix Lights since I already knew about them, along with many other published UFO reports worldwide.
I became an avid reader as a young teenager in the early ’60’s and this was one of the genres I read about. The one that stands out for me was called “Flying Saucers Have Landed” by George Adamski. I’d read many sci-fi stories but this was one that treated the subject seriously, that extraterrestrials existed and were visiting us. Of course, being young and impressionable, I thought that too.
No longer. Thinking critically, I decided that if evolution never happened, here or elsewhere, then no extraterrestrial aliens ever evolved either. Therefore, they’re demons cleverly disguised as extraterrestrials to fool people into believing that evolved aliens exist. They can create seemingly material objects like UFO’s which, strangely, have supernatural powers. Of course people will think they’re aliens with advanced technologies because they see material forms, without suspecting the real supernatural beings, demons, manipulating them.
That is indeed a clever deception.

  2. Actually, I was a fifth-grader, eleven years old, when I became an avid reader who frequently visited the school, and later public, libraries. I wasn’t a teenager yet.
