Every Religion Needs an Original Sin. For Zionism’s Global Civic Religion it’s the Holocaust

For Zionist and/or god-hating fake jews like Netanyahu and his legion of vindictive rabbis, the word Holocaust carries the weight of a magical power word. To invoke the power word is to cause heads to bow in submission, purse strings to loosen, Ted Cruz to say he serves Israel, powerful missiles and weapons to be sent to Israel, and America’s military sent to fight and die for Israel. However, because fake jews have invoked the Holocaust as a guilt-and-shame inducing cudgel to beat down gentiles for so long now it has acquired the dimensions of a myth. It’s become like the boy who always cried wolf. Eventually no one believed him. This is what fake jews have done to the Holocaust by beating people over the head with it, over and over and over. Now in this generation, which is far removed from the WWII generation, we see people disbelieving it ever happened. They believe it’s a myth. And who is at fault but power-hungry, vindictive fake jews. @Linda

Last month, Benjamin Netanyahu invoked the Holocaust twice in ten days. On Holocaust Remembrance Day, he claimed that if Israel and the U.S. had not struck Iran’s nuclear sites, their names would be remembered alongside the names of the WWII Jewish concentration camps, and live in infamy, like Auschwitz. Ten days later, at a ceremony for fallen soldiers, Netanyahu told bereaved families that Israel’s strikes had prevented Iran from carrying out its genocidal vision, another Holocaust narrowly averted by Israeli courage. The crowds nodded. The cameras rolled. Nobody asked the obvious question, which is the same question nobody has been allowed to ask for eighty years: why does this keep working?

The answer is not psychological. It is theological. The Holocaust functions as a perpetual moral blank check because it was deliberately constructed to function that way, and the construction was not accidental. It was linguistic, institutional, and religious all at once, and Christians who cannot see it are not being cautious. They are being catechized.

THE WORD THAT DID THE WORK

First, you must understand the word itself, because the word is where the entire psy-op starts.

“Holocaust” is not a neutral historical label that emerged organically from the rubble of World War Two. It is an ancient religious term imported into modern political discourse already carrying a full theological payload. The word comes from the Greek holókaustos, the standard term in the Septuagint (the Greek translation of the Old Testament used by the apostles and the early church), for the burnt offering. Leviticus 1:9 uses it to refer to a burnt offering. The priest burns the offering entirely on the altar, a food offering that pleases the Lord. The animal is not merely killed. It is offered. Its destruction is purposeful, covenantal, and offered upward toward God.

That is the semantic use of the word. They don’t call it a massacre, or an atrocity, or even a genocide. Instead, it’s called a “sacrifice.” An atonement.

When that word gets applied to a twentieth-century mass murderer, it does not merely describe; it consecrates. It takes the deaths and places them inside a religious frame that Scripture reserves for worship, and specifically for the typological worship that points forward to Christ. The burnt offering of Leviticus is not a standalone ritual. It is a shadow. It anticipates the once-for-all offering of the Son, the real holókaustos, the one that actually brings something to an end. To retrofit that word onto a modern atrocity is not historical labeling, but a category theft. It takes the language Scripture reserved for the cross and redirects the reverence it generates toward a political event and the order built around it.

Christians should have caught this immediately. Most didn’t. They were too busy, caught up in the Scofield fantasy notes in the margins, to pay attention to the Greek. The word slipped in during a moment of genuine grief and genuine horror, and by the time anyone thought to examine it, the civil religion it was building had already poured its foundation.

THE CIVIL RELIGION AND ITS ORIGINAL SIN

Every functional religion needs an original sin, a foundational transgression that explains the present, establishes guilt, and justifies the institutions that manage the fallout. The post-war Western order found its original sin in the Holocaust, and it has been drawing on that account ever since.

In the post-war moral cosmology, the Holocaust is the catastrophe that gives the entire story its authority. The Allied victory is the redemptive act. The institutions built afterward, NATO, the United Nations, the international financial architecture, the NGO complex, are the guardians of salvation, the ecclesial structures of a religion that dare not speak its name. Their legitimacy does not derive from their performance. It derives from their proximity to the redemptive event. They exist because of what happened, and what happened must never be questioned, because questioning it undermines the authority of everything downstream.

This is why the institutions do not need to justify themselves on their merits. NATO is not defended as a prudent military arrangement. It is defended as a guardian of the peace born from the ashes of the Holocaust. The United Nations is not evaluated by its fruit. It is assumed to be indispensable because a world without it might produce another one. Global financial integration is not weighed against local harm. It stabilizes the order that prevents recurrence. These are not policy arguments. They are theological claims dressed in bureaucratic clothing.

And like all theological claims in a functioning religion, they are not open to examination. The moment you ask whether NATO has actually produced peace, or whether the United Nations has actually prevented atrocity, or whether any of these institutions have earned their authority rather than simply inherited it from the sacred event, you are not making a policy argument. You are committing heresy. You are touching the original sin and asking whether it actually means what the priesthood says it means.

THE CHECK AND HOW IT GETS WRITTEN

The most useful feature of civil religion is the blank check it issues to its primary beneficiaries. Because the Holocaust is the original sin of the post-war order, and because that original sin was committed against Jewish people, the moral architecture of the order runs through Jewish identity. Proximity to victimhood confers moral capital. Moral capital confers authority. Authority confers exemption. Exemption is the check, and the check can be written against almost any policy, any military action, any political demand, so long as the writer can plausibly connect it to the sacred event.

In June 1967, Israel launched a preemptive strike against Egypt and within six days controlled the Sinai Peninsula, the West Bank, Gaza, and the Golan Heights. The justification offered to the world was that another Holocaust had been narrowly prevented, that Israel had faced existential annihilation and struck in self-defense. Israeli Prime Minister Levi Eshkol said the existence of the state hung in the balance, and they needed to prevent another Holocaust. The term worked. World sympathy held. The territorial gains were held.

The problem is that Israeli leaders later admitted the entire framing was fabricated after the fact. Mordechai Bentov, one of the signatories of Israel’s Declaration of Independence and a member of the wartime government, said in 1971 that the story about the threat of extermination was totally contrived and then elaborated upon after the fact to justify the annexation of new Arab territories. Menachem Begin himself conceded in 1982 that Israel had a choice in 1967 and chose to attack. The Holocaust framing was not a sincere expression of fear. It was a rhetorical construction built retroactively to sanctify a war of territorial expansion. The blank check was written after the purchase had already been made.

In 1982, Begin used the same account to justify the invasion of Lebanon. He told his cabinet on June 5th that the alternative to fighting was Treblinka, and that Israel had resolved that there would be no more Treblinkas. When Ronald Reagan threatened to review American-Israeli relations over the carpet bombing of Beirut, Begin wrote him directly, describing the scene as a Prime Minister instructing a valiant army facing Berlin, where Hitler and his henchmen were hiding in a bunker beneath the surface. Arafat was Hitler. Beirut was Berlin. The PLO was the Third Reich. The Holocaust was the justification, and the justification was non-negotiable, because in a civil religion, the original sin is not subject to proportionality review.

Gaza needs no further elaboration, as it is still in living memory for anyone paying attention. Netanyahu declared a straight line between October 7th and the Holocaust before the ground campaign had finished its first month. “Never again is now,” he said, using the phrase consecrated to Holocaust memory, while his military was killing civilians at a ratio that no other Western nation could sustain without international prosecution. The Holocaust framing did not merely justify the response. It preemptively foreclosed every proportionality argument before it could be made. You cannot apply normal moral arithmetic to a people preventing another Holocaust. The check covers whatever the operation costs.

And then, in April 2026, twice in ten days, Iran’s nuclear sites were recast as potential death camps, the strikes were recast as the prevention of genocide, and the Israeli soldier was recast as the man standing between the Jewish people and the ovens. The formula remains unchanged across eight decades because it works. It works because the civil religion that makes it work has never been successfully challenged, and it has never been successfully challenged because challenging it gets you called a denier, which in the civil religion is the functional equivalent of blasphemy.

WHY THE DEBT MUST NEVER CLOSE

Here is the feature that distinguishes the Holocaust’s civil religion from Christianity and reveals what it actually is. Christianity is honest about guilt. It is universal, inherited, and inescapable. But it resolves. The cross is not an ongoing accusation. It is a finished verdict. The wrath is extinguished. The debt is paid. Atonement closes the account, and that closure is the system’s entire point. A Christianity that maintained perpetual guilt without resolution would not be Christianity. It would be a different religion using Christian vocabulary.

The civil religion built around the Holocaust does the opposite by design. It acknolwedges guilt and then preserves it, because guilt that closes is guilt that loses its political utility. The Holocaust must remain an open wound because an open wound can be pressed against any surface to produce the desired response. This is why reparations for historical atrocities never gain sufficient traction within this system. Reparations would signal that some debts can be paid, which would imply that the Holocaust debt could eventually be paid, which would dissolve the moral architecture entirely. The debt must remain perpetual. Penance must never end. The check must always have funds.

The word holókaustos carries this idea without anyone having to explain it. A burnt offering is not a crime to be prosecuted and resolved. It is an act of worship to be perpetuated. In the Hebrew sacrificial system, burnt offerings were offered every morning and evening. They were never finished. They pointed forward to the one offering that would finally be enough, and when that offering came, they stopped. The typology was fulfilled, and the system was closed.

The civil religion inverts this. It takes the sacrificial language, strips out the fulfillment it pointed toward, and runs the offerings indefinitely. There is no cross at the center of this system. There is only the perpetual sacrifice, the wound that must stay open, the smoke that must keep rising. And because there is no atonement, there is no forgiveness, no resolution, and no exit. Only management. Only vigilance. Only the priesthood stands at the altar, making sure the fire never goes out.

THE SUPREMACY THAT THE RELIGION ENFORCES

This is where civil religion and the older theological tradition converge, and where the argument becomes uncomfortable for people who prefer to keep their observations separate from their conclusions.

The post-war civil religion did not build its blank check in a vacuum. It was built on a pre-existing theological framework in Rabbinic Judaism that has always maintained a categorical distinction between Jewish and gentile life. The Talmud is explicit. Gentile death does not carry the moral weight of Jewish death. This is not a fringe position within Rabbinic Judaism. It is structural to the tradition, embedded in legal reasoning, and consequential for how adherents understand events in the world.

The civil religion and the Rabbinic tradition are running the same play from different directions. The civil religion says the Holocaust was uniquely evil because of its scale, its industrial character, and its targeting of an entire people. The theological tradition says Jewish suffering is categorically different from gentile suffering because Jewish souls are categorically different from gentile souls. The conclusions are identical even when the premises differ. Jewish death is a different order of event than other deaths, and any framework that challenges that difference is to be suppressed.

This is Jewish Supremacy. Not the cartoon version, not the slur version, but the structural version: the ideological conviction that Jewish people occupy a categorically elevated position in the human family that entitles them to rights, protections, and exemptions unavailable to other groups. The blank check is not a bug in this system. It is the system working correctly.

Here is the question that exposes the whole canard. White Supremacy, at its ideological core, is the claim that white people occupy a unique place in the human family, entitling them to rights, protections, and deferences unavailable to others. Swap the ethnic noun, and the concept is identical. The logic is identical. The mechanism is identical. The fruit is a two-tiered moral universe where one group floats above the rules and is identical. You can’t coherently oppose one while running institutional interference for the other. That is not a theological position. That is ethnically selective outrage, and the civil religion exists in large part to make that selectivity invisible.

THE COMPARATIVE GENOCIDE PROBLEM

If the Holocaust is one genocide among many, the blank check collapses. This is why the uniqueness must be guarded with such ferocity, and why applying the term Holocaust to any other mass death is treated as a kind of sacrilege.

The twentieth century killed approximately one hundred million people through deliberate state action, stripping out combat deaths and collateral casualties. Armenians marched into the desert and left to die. Assyrian and Greek Christians were erased from the civilizations they had inhabited for a millennium. Ukrainians starved due to the policy, while the grain was left on trains. Cambodians were sorted by whether they wore glasses and executed accordingly. Rwandans butchered in the churches they thought would protect them, by the hundreds of thousands, in a hundred days, while the world watched and calculated whether the word genocide would trigger legal obligations it preferred not to meet.

None of these events has a unique name. None is guarded by speech laws in forty countries. None anchors a global day of mandated remembrance. None functions as the final argument that ends political debates about immigration, surveillance, border enforcement, or military conduct. They are tragedies. They are acknowledged. They are occasionally taught. Then the page turns, and the world moves on instead of talking about it every five minutes as though what happened was uniquely evil. It was evil. But there was nothing unique about it. And that little voice in your head that says it’s wrong to say so is the Jewish Supremacy propaganda that’s been shoved down your throat since you were a kid.

Maintaining all this religious propaganda requires ritualized remembrance, the speech prohibitions, the career destruction for insufficient reverence, the application of the Holocaust as a sudden right to veto things that have nothing to do with the Holocaust, and the deployment of the blank check whenever Israeli or Jewish interests require cover that ordinary moral reasoning would not supply.

  1. I’d say this is mostly bunk.
What Israel says and does is their response to enemies, both foreign and domestic.
On the foreign front, Israel is surrounded by hostile Islamic powers seeking to destroy it, which it must defend itself from. Iran was doing it overtly, while the others work covertly.
On the domestic front, Israel must preserve it’s Mosaic identity from being destroyed by Bolshevik-style atheist Jews who would turn it into a Commie state. To preserve their Mosaic identity, they of course use references to the Holocaust and such.
The bona-fide Mosaic Jews will still despise the Christian God – but – the enemy of their enemy is their friend – until he isn’t. And the Bolshevik Jew has no friends but Bolsheviks.
I don’t have the time or patience to carry out other fact-checking.
